Welcome to my new website! - 10/03/26

Over the past week I’ve been working on a complete overhaul of my website; transforming my informal blog-style site into a sleeker and more accessible portfolio. This was no small feat, and I would be doing a lot of learning along the way.

I have limited knowledge when it comes to web development, so I decided to take on the challenge of designing and developing my own website by utilizing free online material and AI. That being said, I made the website to my own specifications and didn’t follow a single linear tutorial, rather I pieced together, modified and wrote some of my own code to create my website exactly how I wanted it to be.

My aim was to learn basic CSS and HTML functionality, redevelop my site to be more professional and accessible, and for my website to be an active and evolving form of notetaking that can serve as a reference or template for future projects.

I believe I achieved what I set out to do and I’m very pleased with the result. I have a few tweaks left to do but as of now the site is functional!
